About Ms. Hannah

Hi, I’m Hannah Dodimead.

I am an American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Certified and New Jersey licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I attended Stockton University and earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Communication Disorders. I continued my education at Stockton University and graduated with my Master of Science in Communication Disorders.

I’ve worked with infants, children, and adolescents in the Early Intervention, school, and private practice settings. I have a passion for early language therapy and have completed several continuing education hours to expand my knowledge of assessment and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Specifically, I have completed the Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) training for childhood apraxia of speech. In the summer of 2023, I also had the opportunity to attend the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Advanced Training Workshop sponsored by the Once Upon a Time Apraxia Foundation. I am trained in the Natural Language Acquisition framework for gestalt language processing as well.

I believe that play is the work of children, and skills are acquired and generalized best using a play based and child-centered approach to therapy. I consider myself to be a neurodiversity affirming therapist and work to build natural connections with my patients, which in turn, facilitates genuine communication. I also strive to establish strong relationships with both my patients and their families and be a source of trust, support, and understanding.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my fur baby Winston. I love to read, exercise, and go to the beach!
