About Ms. Jess

Hi, I’m Jess Rosen.

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. I attended Hofstra University for my bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Hearing Sciences and minor in Disability Studies. I continued my education at Hofstra University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with my Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology.

I have years of experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings, such as early intervention, school districts, outpatient, and private practice. I am passionate about supporting expressive and receptive language delays, speech sound disorders, autism, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and gestalt-language processors (GLPs). I am also trained in the Natural Language Acquisition Framework for gestalt language processing.

I am deeply committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming therapy rooted in trust, empathy, connection, and authenticity. When working with autistic and neurodiverse children, I prioritize regulation, engagement, and intrinsic motivation as foundational skills for fostering language development. By following a child-led and play-based approach, I am able to integrate interests and speech/language skills into meaningful and motivating learning experiences. Play is a powerful tool for building skills, fostering connection, and boosting confidence.

As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I am dedicated to celebrating strengths while meeting a child’s needs. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment for both my patients and families, where collaboration, trust, and empowerment are key.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out and playing games with my friends and family. You can usually find me snuggled up with a blanket and my dog, Ollie. I love learning about ancient history, astrology, spending time in nature, and cheering for the Sixers!
