Hi, I’m Dana Matthias.

I am a speech-language pathologist that is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed to practice in New Jersey. I attended the Pennsylvania State University where I received my bachelor of science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in psychology as well as a master of science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
I have experience working with children of all ages. I am passionate about working with children to support their communication in ways that are authentic and meaningful to them. I have worked with kids with various diagnoses including language disorders, articulation/phonology disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorder,s and more. I also have experience in providing treatment utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and working with those who are gestalt language processors. With a focus of neurodiversity affirming therapy, I believe in creating learning opportunities through play and allowing my patients to express who they are. I enjoy working with and getting to know my families to create supportive and confident relationships.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, spending time outdoors and trying new places to eat with my husband!
