About Ms. Grace

Hi, I’m Grace Pikus.

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed to practice in New Jersey. I earned my Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Communication Disorders from Stockton University and continued my education at University of Delaware, where I received my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology.

I have experience working with children and adolescents across a variety of settings, including school districts and outpatient clinics. I am especially passionate about supporting all individuals through individualized, strengths-based care that encourages meaningful communication and autonomy. My clinical experience includes working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), speech sound disorders, and receptive and expressive language disorders. I enjoy using child-led and play-based approaches to create engaging therapy sessions that build confidence, connection, and functional communication skills.

I consider myself a neurodiversity-affirming therapist and strive to create a space where children feel accepted, supported, and understood as their authentic selves. I believe communication can look different for every individual, and I value each child’s unique way of interacting with the world. My approach focuses on building strong relationships with clients and families while supporting regulation, engagement, and self-advocacy in a way that feels meaningful and empowering. I aim to make therapy a positive and collaborative experience that helps children grow in confidence while developing skills that support their everyday lives.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending quality time with my family and friends, relaxing on the beach, watching movies, and cuddling up with my two cats, Ben & Jerry.
